City Clerk
City Clerk Jane Marshall earned designation as Registered Municipal Clerk from the Municipal Clerks of Illinois in 1996; Certified Municipal Clerk from International Institute of Municipal Clerks in 1996; and was accepted in the International Municipal Clerks Master Municipal Clerk Academy in 2004.

The City Clerk's Office performs those duties mandated by state and local law, serving the City Council and the general public.
The City Clerk is designated as the "Official Keeper of the Records and Keeper of the Official Seal of the City".
