2012 SWIMMING LESSONS
Due to program fees being determined by the projected number of participants,
there will be no refunds for swimming lessons.
Registration deadline* is
June 27 for Session I July 11 for Session II
Late registration will be limited to space availability.
*Class size is limited, therefore, registration may close early if available space is filled.
INTRODUCTION TO WATER
A minimum of six must be registered for a class to be offered.
A child’s birth certificate must be presented at the time of registration.
Placement will be determined by the child’s age on the first date of lessons.
Session I - July 9, 10, 11, & 12 Session II - July 16, 17, 18 & 19
Monday thru Thursday; Fridays will be reserved for making up rained out classes, if needed.
5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
$24 per resident $30 per non-resident.
Introduction to Water for Infants—6 months through 18 months
The instructor will work with parents to help their children adjust to the water.
All infants are required to wear swim diapers/pants.
A parent is required to be in the pool with the child during these classes.
Toddler Program –19 months through 3 years old
Instructor and parent work together to prepare your child to be on their own in the water.
Children who are not potty trained will be required to wear swim diapers/pants.
A parent is required to be in the pool with the child during these classes.
Pre-School Program—4 and 5 years old
Instruction in basic skills and water adjustment are included in this course.
Although parents do not need to be in the pool with their child, a parent is required to be at poolside for on-site supervision.
LEARN TO SWIM
Session I - July 2, 3, 5, 6 and 9 thru 12 Session II - July 16 thru 26
Monday thru Thursday; Fridays will be reserved for making up rained out classes, if needed.
11:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. or 6:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
$48 per resident $60 per non-resident.
Youth five years of age and older will be placed in specific groups according to their abilities
as determined by the Pool Manager and lesson instructor
(beginner, advanced beginner, intermediate swimmer, swimmer, advanced swimmer).
Classes will meet Monday through Thursday for 30 minutes
(except for the first week of Session I, classes will meet Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, due to the 4th of July holiday).
Fridays have been reserved, if needed, for making up rained out classes.
