Girls’ Volleyball Clinic: Girls in third through eighth grades will be instructed in the basic skills of volleyball. Participants in this class will be performing drills involving serving, setting, spiking, and control. Registration is required at Salem City Hall for this eight week program. A maximum of 20 girls will be accepted in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade session, 25 maximum in the
6th, 7th, and 8th grade session. Each session must have a minimum of 10 registered for the program to be offered.
Tuesdays, September 21 thru November 9
5:30 p.m. to 6:20 p.m. - 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders
6:30 p.m. to 7:20 p.m. - 6th, 7th, and 8th graders
Salem Community Activities Center Gym
$20 resident fee $25 non-resident fee
Salem Recreation Department's comprehensive soccer program places emphasis on the youth enjoying the sport, enhancing their self-esteem, and learning the basics of soccer. Registration forms are available at Salem City Hall. Due to the number of teams being determined by the projected number of players, there will be no refunds in this program.

Youth will be divided into leagues
according to the age they will be on September 1, 2010:
Beginners League (5 6, and 7 years old)
Youth League (8, 9 and 10 years old)
REGISTRATION will be accepted at Salem City Hall
through July 21, 2010
Those registering after July 21 will be assigned to a team if there is space available.
There is no guarantee of placement on a team for those registering
after July 21, 2010.
2011 Spring
Youth will be divided into leagues
