Salem Recreation Department's comprehensive soccer program places emphasis on the youth enjoying the sport, enhancing their self-esteem, and learning the basics of soccer. Registration forms are available at Salem City Hall. Due to the number of teams being determined by the projected number of players, there will be no refunds in this program.
2012  Soccer
Registration will be accepted at Salem City Hall
from January 30, 2012 through March 2, 2012.
Youth will be divided into leagues
according to the age they were on September 1, 2011:
Beginners League (5 6, and 7 years old)
Youth League (8, 9 and 10 years old)
Youth League players who are moving up from the Beginners League or who are new to the program
should plan on attending skills evaluation drills on
Tuesday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Salem Community Activities Center.
Those registering after March 2 will be assigned to a team if there is space available.
There is no guarantee of placement on a team
for those registering after March 2, 2012.
